Virginia Wood Virginia "Gina" Wood, 57, died Sept. 18, 2003 in Bernalillo. She was born May 9, 1946 in Tucumcari. Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Barreras; a brother, George Molinas and stepson Leroy Smith. Survivors include her husband, Gene Wood of Bernalillo, three sons, Joseph Montano, Dean Montano and wife Christine of Tucumcari and Juan Alvarez and wife Lena of Rio Rancho; her parents, Juan and Ericka Molinas of Albuquerque and Nelson Barreras of Tucumcari; four brothers, Louis Molinas and Mary Ann and Johnny Molinas and wife Polly all of Tucumcari, Steve Molinas and Eric Chavez of Albuquerque; seven sisters, Jenny Lou Molinas of Tucumcari, Rachel Hendren and Alex, Lisa Molinas and Basilia Chavez all of Albuquerque, Henrietta Hernandez and Henry and Connie Shotkoski and Alex all of Chino, Calif., Stephanie Molinas of Aurora, Colo., nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services was Tuesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
