Virginia Wallace Walker, 82, of Mount Hope died Saturday, March 29, 2003.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Roger Houston officiating. Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery, Leighton.She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Walker; son, Judson Walker; father, James M. Wallace; mother, Virginia E. Bradford Wallace.She is survived by a special friend, William Counts; daughters, Patsy Kerby, Mirian Garrison, both of Mount Hope, Becky Lee; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one step great-granddaughter.Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Hatton Senior Citizen members.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
