AYER, Mass. -- Virginia M. Taylor, 75, of 18 Pond St., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Emerson Hospital in Concord after an illness.Mrs. Taylor was born in Brattleboro, Vt., on July 31, 1928, a daughter of Watson and Kathryn (Kingsbury) Magoon and grew up in Brattleboro. She graduated from Brattleboro High School. She resided for many years in Keene, N.H., before moving to Ayer 13 years ago.Mrs. Taylor worked as an administrator for 15 years at the Woodward Home in Keene before retiring in 1990.She is survived by two daughters, Vanessa T. Riffelmacher of Ayer and Theresa D. O'Connor of Marlboro; three sisters, Anita Stone of Florida, Maxine Smith of Vernon, Vt., and Alberta Belleville of Brattleboro; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Magoon and Robert Magoon, and a sister, Rona Magoon.
