Virginia Sue Woods, Springfield, born December 18, 1941, to the late Herman and Lois (Hensley) Doke in Pleasant Hope, Mo., passed away on December 13, 2005, at the age of 63. She leaves behind her loving husband of the home, Leroy daughters, Toni Stafford and husband, Newt, Madeline Bueno and husband, Dan, Sonia Mangan and Doyle Culpepper, and Shelia Collins and her fiance, Fred 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and siblings, Shirley Dow and Gary Doke. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Grant Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, 1060 S. Grant, Springfield, MO 65807 under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Rivermonte with Pastor Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Cemetery, Squires, Mo. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2005, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO 65804.
