LEWIS Virginia M. Lewis, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2005 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Fall River, Ma., on June 3, 1946 to Robert and Dorothy Matthews. She leaves to mourn, her loving husband of 38 years, Robert H. Lewis; son, James (Shannon) Lewis; daughters, Pamela Sander and Cherie (Jason) Turner; brother, Dr. James Matthews; sisters, Margaret Canulla and Jean Furtado; grandchildren, Robert Hunter Sander, Haley Lewis, and Brooke Turner. Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Haut officiating. Committal services will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
