Dawson, Virginia "Ginny" M., 84, passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her home in Lake Worth, FL on August 1, 2005 after an extended illness. Born in East Boston, grew up in Winthrop, MA; she was the youngest of the Carter family. After her marriage to Charles "Bill" Dawson, they resided in Stoneham, MA until they moved to Palm Beach County, FL in 1973. She was a WW II Navy nurse, and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her sister Rita Romano of Revere, MA and her children: Peter Dawson of Nahant, MA; Daniel Dawson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Charles W. Dawson III, Michael Dawson, Patricia Borsdorf, and Nancy Langlands all of Lake Worth; three grandchildren: Colleen Dawson of Nahant, Christopher Dawson of Georgia and Michael Dawson of Lake Worth and five great-grand children. Visiting hours will be held at Babione Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Boca Raton, FL with burial to follow at The Boca Raton Cemetery.
