Virginia "Gini" Foster Lewis, 62, of 436 42nd Ave., San Francisco, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Chester Albert and Juanita Morton Foster. Ms. Lewis served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 10 years as a Marine, who served her country well. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sisters, Linda F. Ray and husband, Harold, of Greenville, and Brenda F. Phillips of Greenville; two nieces, Misty Rich of Greenville and Sonya McCauley of Piedmont; two great-nieces, Ashley Salmon and Brittany Rich; and two great-nephews, Michael Rich and Austin McCauley; and many special friends in California. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Ann Harkins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DAV Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the home of sister, Linda F. Ray, 200 Fern Court, Greenville.
