->Jones, Virginia L.Moravia: Virginia L. Jones, 77, of Mill Stream Court, Moravia, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born August 18, 1934 in Brunswick, ME, a daughter of the late Henry and Eva (McKay) Dall, and had been a resident of Southern Cayuga County for most of her life. "Jenny" was formerly employed with Cros-Ible Inc. of Moravia for over 30 years and had been employed with Smith-Corona for a number of years prior. Jenny devoted her life to all of her family, and she enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Frederick Jones; six children, Carol Draper (John) of Locke, Allen Coffin (Lauren) of Locke, Dale Coffin (Marjorie) of Groton, Laurrie Coffin (Libby) of Trumansburg, Barbara Woodmansee (Paul) of Weedsport, and Brenda Doeing (Bill) of Genoa; four stepchildren, Claudia Gregg (Bill) of Trumansburg, David Jones of Interlaken, Laurie Lees (Mike) of Trumansburg, and Lisa Giannoni (Chris) of Auburn; 29 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Dall of Maine; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Edward Cummings; and by grandchildren, Madeline Woodmansee, Kurtis Doeing and Joshua Cummings; and by several brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 10117 Route 90, Genoa on Friday evening (Sept. 23) from 5 to 8 p.m. A private family service will be held in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Scipio Center.
