-> Virginia Johnson Anderson, age 79, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at Candler Hospital. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a Rosarian and a member of the Savannah Rose Society. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and the Invincible Sunday School Class of which she had been Secretary-Treasurer since its founding 22 years ago. Her husband, Donald C. Anderson, a son, Richard E. McGinley, a brother, William C. Jones and two sisters, Bobbie J. Smith and Vera J. Douberly, preceded her in death. Survivors: a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry A. and Ronald D. Nunn of Montgomery, AL; a sister, Doris J. Aimar of Savannah; a brother and sister-in-law, H. Ray and Barbara Johnson of Savannah; a granddaughter, Stacy A. Nunn of Birmingham; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael D. and Amy O. Nunn, of Montgomery; two great-grandchildren, Caroline B. Nunn and Samuel D. Nunn, both of Montgomery, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 20 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
