Graveside service for Virginia Idella Mitchell Walker, 80, of Falkville will be Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Abbot officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.Mrs. Walker died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 22, 1923, in Harrimon, Tenn., to Edward Franklin Mitchell and Ella Martin Hill Mitchell. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Young At Heart Bowling League. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sylvester Walker. Survivors include two sons, Gary Walker and wife Brenda of Decatur and Tony Walker of Falkville; two daughters, Connie Kermish and husband John of Falkville and Tammy Holt of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
