CLINTON--Virginia Gray Wood, 94, passed away at Oak Grove Center in Waterville on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011.She was born on Sept. 25, 1917, in Burnham, the daughter of Frederick and Rose (Holland) Gray of Clinton. Virginia graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield, class of 1935. Virginia was a member of Clinton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at Moosehead Lake with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Diane Guerette of Sarnia, Ontario, Edward Wood of Clinton, and Sheryl Borgman of Lafayette, Ind.; her grandchildren, Dawn Cook of Skowhegan and her son, Trevor, Daniel Guerette and wife Laura of Sarnia, Ontario, and their children, Isaac and Jassmine, Jonathan of Vancouver, B.C., Melissa Lochhead and husband Ryan, and their children, Nathan and Joel of Sarnia, Ontario, Samuel and wife Jenna, and their children, Faith, Matthew, and Sawyer, Derrick Butler of Clinton and his children, Derrick Jr. and Hannah, Tyler Borgman of Lafayette, Ind., Danielle Borgman of Lafayette, Ind., and Whitni Borgman of Lafayette, Ind.; her sister, Lizzie Hunter, of Clinton; and her sister-in-law, Gerry Weymouth, of Clinton.Visiting hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, at Clinton Baptist Church, Spring Street, Clinton.
