Virginia A. Clark, age 89, of Port Orange, FL passed away Friday (Nov. 25, 2011) at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange. Mrs. Clark was born in Raliegh, NC and moved to this area in 1980 from Lake Helen, FL. She was a retired election clerk for Seminole County. A tournament shuffleboard player at City Island, she also played at LaCosta Village. She and her husband, Irving enjoyed traveling and casinos, and Virginia always enjoyed fresh flowers. In lieu of other remembrances, donations in her memory can be sent to Halifax Hospice of Vol/Flager, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Irving extends a special "thanks" to Dr. Boone Chew & Staff and the Halifax Health Oncology Lab in Port Orange. Survivors include husband of 31 years and sole caretaker, Irving; three daughters, Glenda Emerson, Donna McPherson and Janice Lopez; three sisters, Nancy Robbins, Barbara Fromberger and Stella Hartwick; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
