HAYNES, Virginia Ann KeeterAge 79, formerly of Nashville, died on March 31, 2010 in Birmingham, AL. The daughter of John and Leo Keeter, Mrs. Haynes was one of eight children, born and raised in Throckmorton, Texas. She was a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She was married 50 years to the late Joseph M. Haynes, who was employed by Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville, where they lived most of their married life. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Tracy (Bob) of Birmingham, and Karen Sistare (Chip) of Jacksonville, FL; three granddaughters, Caroline Sistare, Virginia Tracy and Katherine Tracy; and one grandson, Cameron Sistare. She is also survived by one sister, Gayle Toland of Germantown, TN; and two brothers, Hilton Keeter of Throckmorton, Texas, and Guy Keeter of Rockwall, Texas; Known as "Ginna" to her family, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and extended family. Throughout the years, she was active in Baptist Women, Women's Club of Nashville and Alive Hospice. She and her husband were faithful members of Belmont Heights, Woodmont and First Baptist Church, all of Nashville. She was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church in Bluff Park, AL. Services were held on Friday April 2, at Shades Crest Church, Birmingham. Burial will take place in Dallas, Texas at Grove Hill Memorial Cemetery on Monday, April 12. Memorial donations may be made to Belmont University.
