WILLIAMS _ Violet Maureen (nee: Underwood) on November 26, 2005 Maureen's life journey came to an end, after 5 years of courageously battling cancer she passed away peacefully. She was born in Duncan, BC on May 12, 1950. Maureen had a heart of gold and was very proud of her family. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her soul mate of 32 years Chief Richard 'Dick' W. Williams. She had nothing but admiration for her children; Amanda Williams; Dick Williams and Ellen Williams. Maureen is also survived by her loving parents George and Geraldine Underwood; brothers; George Underwood (Lillian); Steven Underwood; Floyd Underwood; Lloyd Underwood; James Underwood Charles Underwood; sisters; Mavis Henry; Georgina Olsen; Diane Henry; Lisa Underwood; Ina Joseph (Patrick); Rhonda Underwood and sister-in-law Verna Ellsworth. The Williams' and Underwood family also thank Lions Gate Hospital Palliative Care staff for assisting Maureen during her illness. A Prayer Service will be held at Squamish Nation RecCentre, 100 Capilano Road, North Vancouver, BC on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Squamish Nation RecCentre, 100 Capilano Road, North Vancouver on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m.
