WHITAKER, Violet Mary Patricia (nee Ford). Passed away suddenly at her home in Toronto on Sunday, February 10, 2008. Predeceased by her loving husband Sydney Fredrick Whitaker. Devoted mother of Linda (Steve), Donna (Declan), Ken (Colette) and Brian. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Stephanie and Justin (and their mother Glenda), and Jamie and Graham. Survived by her sister Joan, brothers-in-law Jim and Ted and sisters-in-law Louise, Mary-Ann and Doreen. Predeceased by her brothers Walter and Jackie, sister Shirley and brothers-in-law Bill and Ernie. Violet will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She touched the lives of many. Funeral mass to be held at St. Veronica's Church, 1300 Carson Ave., Dorval, on Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
