Violet Elizabeth Graves Hamilton, 91, formerly of Loretto Road, Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary in Nerinx, where she had resided since 2009. She was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Washington County. She was a homemaker, a graduate of St. Catharine College, a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the St. Rose Altar Society and had been an American Red Cross volunteer.
