ROTH, Viola Margaret (Gaskell)1934 ~ 2014Viola passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Kelowna at the age of 80. She will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters: Judy (Russ), Rose (Len), Debra (Tim), Wendy (Aaron), and two sons: Wayne (Katie) and Steven. Also left to mourn are 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one sister Elaine (Jim), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her first husband John Stenberg, second husband Garry Roth, infant daughter Joan, twin brother Victor Gaskell and sister Rita Larsen. Viola was born in Kelowna and lived here most of her life. She was an avid gardener known for her beautiful roses; she enjoyed reading and loved family get-togethers. Viola's last year was spent living at Village at Mill Creek where she received wonderful care and made good friends with Mary and Margaret. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. within the chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road Rutland, B.C.
