PARKER Viola Leah Amy, (nee Marzolf) Passed away peacefully on July 18, 2009. Born in Central Butte, Saskatchewan on February 11, 1914, she lived in North Vancouver for over 60 years. Predeceased by husband Don and brothers Ivan and Neil. Viola will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sister, Mona Voisey; children, Tom (Patricia), Marilyn Beck, and Ruth Williams (Chris); granddaughters Stephie (Jose) and Vickie (John), and also by her "family" of friends and staff at Cedar View Lodge where she was lovingly cared for as a resident for over 10 years. Viola was known for her selfless generosity, cheerful positive personality and her good-natured teasing. It was always, as she so often said, "a beautiful day to be happy". Memorial service will be held at North Lonsdale United Church, 3380 Lonsdale, Sunday August 9th 2:00 pm Donations to Cedar View Lodge, may be made in her memory 1200 Cedar Village Close, North Vancouver, B.C. V7J 3P3.
