DAVIS, Viola a resident of Mont-gomery, Alabama expired Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in a lo-cal hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 pm from New Pleasant Valley AME Zion Church, Hope Hull, Alabama Rev. Mark Bass, pastor interment will follow New Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Montgomery Me-morial Funeral Home directing. She leaves behind to cherish her memories three sons: James (Gla-dys) Davis, Robert (Mona) Davis of Hope Hull, AL and Leon Thomas Da-vis of Montgomery, AL: one daugh-ter Carolyn Davis Harrison of Mont-gomery, AL a stepson Joe Spencer Matin of Montgomery, AL, twenty-seven grandchildren(s) which in-cludes a very devoted grandson Keith Davis, twenty-two great grandchildren, one daughter-In-law Shirley Davis, one Sister-in-law Daisy Husband of Trentton, NJ, three brothers: LC (Joesphine) Wil-liams, JC (Martha) Williams of Montgomery, AL, Henry (Betty) Wil-liams of Fayettville, NC one Brother-in-law JC Kemp of Marianna, FL, four sistersLillie Mae Timmons Cal-houn, AL, Essie (Willie) Stiles, Dorthy (Earl) Hill of Hope Hull, AL, Lula Wil-liams of Montgomery, AL. A very special niece Mary Ellen (Avon) Holt and very special family mem-ber Daisy, Josie, Willie Dale and Bernice. A host of devoted neph-ews, Nieces, Cousin and Friends. Devoted friends Estelle, Bertha, Clemmie Mae, Lillie Mae, Betsy, An-nie Mae, Virgina, Margaret, Tisha and Minnie. Mrs.Viola Taylor Davis retired in 1993 from the Montgom-ery County School System as a cus-todian with Peter Crump Elemen-tary School. The students and the entire staff at Peter Crump School held her in high esteem.
