CLARK (Notte), Vida Joan Mom suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on March 7, 2013, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Her loss is immeasurable to her family and friends. She is predeceased by her children Randy, Sharon and Cindy, and her granddaughter Sabrina. She is survived by her daughters Angela and Tara, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Fredrickson of Grand Prairie, Alberta, and her life-long and loyal friends Zora Mihich and Josephine Pagnotta. Vida had many accomplishments in her life, including her work as a drug and alcohol counsellor, owning her own business, and completing her Master's Degree in Social Work, as a mature student. By way of example, she gave others the strength of character and the stubbornness of perseverance. Her beauty was not just in her looks, but more importantly in her spirit. She was a unique, strong and brave woman, the memory of which will be part of her legacy. We already miss her more than words can adequately explain, and will love her forever plus a day. Visitation is on Thursday, at 10:00am on March 14 at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Gordon Head Road, followed by Mass Service at 11:00am, followed by a brief reception at the church. Internment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
