Obituary of Victoria-C. Morin


MORIN, Victoria C. (Yanick) 88, of Marstons Mills, died October 19, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare in Mashpee after a short illness. She was the wife of Nelson H. Morin who died in 2000. They were married for 61 years. Mrs. Morin was born in Woonsocket, RI and lived most of her life in Millville, MA. Since her husband’s retirement, she and her husband divided their time between Florida and Marstons Mills where they enjoyed golf, boating and travel. She was a member of Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, Timber Greens Golf Club in New Port Richey and the Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course in Marstons Mills. Since 2003 she has been a resident of Harbor Point Assisted Living in Centerville. Devoted to her family, she is survived by one daughter, Barbara M. Lynch of Marstons Mills and one son, Richard N. and his wife, Judith of Cottage Grove, MN.; three grandsons, Michael of Cottage Grove and Peter and Robert of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by one sister, Amelia Lavergne of Millville and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 270 Communications Way, Hyannis, MA 02601. Doane, Beal and Ames, 160 West Main St. Hyannis, MA. is in charge of arrangements.
