ST-AUBIN, Victor Jacques After a long fight with cancer, Vic passed away at the Buckingham hospital in Quebec, on March 2, 2009, surrounded by his family. He will be missed and remembered by his wife of 39 years, Pauline (Labbe) and his daughters, Michelle and Cindy and his son-in-law Jim Connell. Vic was predeceased by his father Noel St-Aubin and his older brother Florent. He is survived by his mother Annette Beauregard, his brothers and their wives, Edgar (Jeannette Monette), Toussaint (Linda Bussiere), Lucien (Celine Villeneuve), Roger-Noel (Line Villeneuve), Aurele (Sylvie Poisson), Jean (Lindy Griswold) and his sisters and their husbands Madeleine (Joffre Ladouceur) and Carmen (Daniel Banville). Vic will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and many friends. Born in Otter Lake, Quebec, Vic was a retired operating engineer, working all across Canada. He was an outdoorsman enjoying many activities and travels with his friends all over North America. The family want to thank the staff at the Buckingham Hospital in Gatineau, the Renfrew Hospital, the Ottawa Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton for their compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall (313 Raglan St, Renfrew, Ontario) on Saturday, March 21st from 1 until 4 pm.
