MCGREGOR, Victor Duncan In loving memory of Victor Duncan McGregor, 78 years who passed away Wednesday February 12th, 2003 at his residence, Birch Island, ON. Duncan enjoyed bird-watching and playing cribbage. He was a participating War Veteran in many Pow-Wows. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177, Little Current. He was an active member of the Birch Island Elders Group and enjoyed visiting with his friends. Beloved husband of the late Eva (Murray) McGregor (predeceased 1986). Loving father of the late Rita McGregor (predeceased 1989) and the late Mildred McGregor (predeceased 1953). Dear son of the late Elie and Margaret (Esquimaux) McGregor (both predeceased). Predeceased by brothers Raymond, Thomas, Wilfred, Rufus and Eugene. Survived by step-sisters and step brothers Julia Bowerman, Jean, Conrad, Frankie, Celina, David, Lavina, Lloyd and Louise. Also survived by sister-in-law Celina Walker of Birch Island, many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Resting at the Birch Island Community Centre, Birch Island Ontario. Funeral Mass at the Community Centre, Saturday February 15th, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Birch Island Cemetery.
