Vergie Mae Anderson, 73, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 13, 2004, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. She was the former Vergie Wellman, a native of Morganton, NC, and a retired employee of the old Curtis 1000. Vergie was a member of First Church of God. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jack R. Anderson; children, Julie (Gary) Bair of Toledo, OH, Lori (Tommy) Goodson of Anderson, IN, and Marci Keith and Corey (Erin) Anderson, both of Louisville; sister, Lorene Bass of Red Oak, NC; brother, Albert Wellman of Morganton; and six grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
