Vera G. KingJuly 7, 1923 - April 4, 2012Vera G. King of Pensacola, Florida died April 4, 2012 at West Florida Hospital. She was surrounded by family and friends. Vera was born in Evergreen, Alabama on July 7, 1923. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank H. King, a Pearl Harbor Survivor.Survivors include her two children, Robert King and Linda Scheuermann, Granddaughter Bella Scheuermann, grandson Emile (Tabitha) Scheuermann, four nieces and sister-in-law Flo Garrett. Vera joined Myrtle Grove United Methodist in 1968, where she served as a faithful member for 44 years.Visitation will be at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 AM with the funeral to follow at 11 AM.
