Obituary of Vera-Ann-Wilson Carter

Vera Ann Carter, of 316 Reynolds Ave., died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002. Survivors: Husband, Joseph Carter; a daughter, Terry Wilson, of the home; stepdaughters, Kimberly Barksdale of Greenwood and Montrez Bailey of Spartanburg; a niece reared in the home, Monique Wilson; sisters, Mattie Richardson, Rosella Satterwhite and Katie Lee; a brother, Earnest Wilson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased: Parents, James Wilson and Mattie Brown Wilson. Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. today, at Parks Funeral Home. Service: 1 p.m. Friday, at John's Creek Baptist Church. Burial: Evening Star Memorial Gardens.
