VAN BUSKIRK, WILLIAM DALE, age 75, Maitland, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006. Born in Rock Island, IL, Mr. Van Buskirk has been a resident of Central Florida since 1962. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. After 35 years with The Hartford Insurance Company, Bill opened his own agency, Consolidated Insurance Agency of Leesburg, FL. He was Past President of The Hartford Employees group, a member of the Leesburg Elks Club, the Leesburg Quarterback Club, and the Seminole Track Officials. He is survived by his wife, Dottie Van Buskirk; son and his fiancee, Jeffrey Van Buskirk & Theresa Lucarelli, Weirsdale, FL; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie & David Maul, Winter Park, FL, Sandra Van Buskirk, Maitland, FL; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Megan, Tori and Dakotah. The Family will receive Friends Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 5PM until 8PM at the Lake Ivanhoe Chapel of Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando, where the Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, October 20, 2006, 11AM. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park with military honors provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
