Valerie E. Johnson Valerie E. Johnson, 40, who had retired as an assistant director for the Lincoln Neighborhood Service Center, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Wednesday at Strong & Jones Funeral Home chapel (224-2139), with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. EDT Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.She is survived by her parents, Levi and Marion Wiggins Johnson of Miami; two sisters, Lynne Colman (and husband Ray) of McKinney, Texas, and Angela Johnson of Miami; and a brother, Landry A. Johnson (and wife Veranika) of Miramar.
