Val M. R. Mitchell-Jackson JACKSONVILLE - Val Marie Richardson Mitchell-Jackson, 68, died Friday, April 9, 2004. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at the Soutel Chapel of Brown-Green-Fralin Funeral Directors Inc. in Jacksonville (904-924-9340). Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home.Memorialization will be by cremation. A native of Havana, she was a resident of Jacksonville and a retiree of the Duval County School System. She was a member of True Bind Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Charles Jackson; two sons, George Sanders Sr. of Tallahassee and Kenneth Jones Sr. of Havana; a stepdaughter, Shella Brown of Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her mother, Mary Richardson of Havana; a brother, Matthew J. Richardson of Quincy; three sisters, Deloris Ziegler of Jacksonville and Emma L. Richardson and Gloria Gaines, both of Havana; and other relatives and friends.
