Virginia Douglas Coleman, 78, of 111 Country Club Court, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.Born August 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William Calvin and Faye Anderson Douglas of Aurora, Neb.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Thomas Coleman Jr.; three sons, Robert Thomas Coleman III and daughter-in-law, Claudia Barton Coleman of Greenville, S.C., Frank Hutchinson Coleman II of Spartanburg, and William Douglas Coleman and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Bridgeman Coleman of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; and three grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church, 393 East Main St., Spartanburg.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Converse College, 580 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, or to the charity of one's choice.Floyd's North Church Street Chapel
