SMITH, VICKY DARLENE Age 55, of Shannon, AL passed away Friday, February 17th, 2012. Vicky was a very caring person who never ever met a stranger, and was always willing to go out of her way to help anyone in need. She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved animals of all shapes and sizes. Vicky is survived by her husband, Cary Joe Smith, of 25 years; mother, Colene Smith; sister, Cathey Hancock; brothers, Bill and Jeff Smith; countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members. A memorial service will be held Sunday Feb 19th at Shannon First Baptist Church at 2pm. Bro. Tommy Hannah will be officiating.
