Ursula Madeline Anstee (nee Walker) December 18, 1931 - October 04, 2001 After a long and courageous battle with cancer and with the love and admiration of her family and friends. At St. Joseph’s Villa on Thursday, October 4, 2001, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph William Anstee. Dear mother of Jodi Aussem and her husband Thomas Curd. Susan Chaston and her partner Dave Llewellyn and Christopher Anstee, all of Dundas. Loving grandmother of Andrew Aussem and Jordan Chaston. Loved daughter of Annie Walker and the late Joseph Walker. Much loved sister of John Walker and wife Vera of Dundas, William Walker and wife Elizabeth of Hamilton. Dear sister-in-law of Jean and Morley Ham of Langton, Rosemary, Patricia, William, Fred, Robert and wife Maureen, James, Lois and husband Larry Latham and Jo-Ann Cooper of Hamilton, Linda Benson and husband Rick of Simcoe, Delores O’Malley of Peterborough and Gertie Krysko of Smithville. Predeceased by brother-in-law George and sister-in-law Anna Marie Anstee. Will be sadly missed by her cousin Margie Garry and her good friends, Kathryn Corbin, Jean Malo and Junie Lemon. Thanks to Dr. Parveen Wasi and the staff of Ward 3Z at McMaster Medical Centre. There are no words to adequately express the appreciation of the family for the wonderful, dedicated staff of 2 East, St. Joseph’s Villa, who became friends and gave Ursula love, care and compassion. Special thanks to Marj Walker for the love and support she gave Ursula every day. Family and friends will be received at Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Service 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas. Interment, St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Joseph’s Villa Fund.
