Mr. Tommy Lawrence Jackson, age 61, of Atlanta, formerly of Gainesville, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, at Atlanta Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Jackson was a native of Gainesville, where he attended Fair Street High School. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene on Garden Drive with the Rev. Sean Gray, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church at 1 p.m. on the day of the service. The remains will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. on the day of the service. Survivors include his children, Vincent Longstreet, Samantha Ivory and Tracie Jackson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned (Mildred) Jackson; sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Lott; brother, Larry Jackson; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
