Tommie Lee Henderson, age 80 resident of 249 S.W. Grassland Way, Lake City, FL departed this life Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his residence terminating an illness. Born in LaFayette, AL. he was the son of the late Herbert Henderson, Sr. and Lorene Florence Henderson.He was preceded in death by five brothers, James, Jerry Lee, Herbert, Jr. Joe and Lucious; one sister, Mattie H. Houston.Later is life in the 70's he moved to Florida and made Lake City his home.He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Fletcher (Shirley) Baldwin, of Salem, AL; two daughters, Barbara (Leon) Tolbert, Salem, AL, Pinkie (Marshall) Carter, of Lake City, FL; a close companion, Erma Jean Lee, of Lake City, FL; a special granddaughter, Shenay "Tonya" Fulton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.Funeral services for Tommie Lee Henderson, will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Freewill Church of God In Christ, Lake City, FL, Rev. Willie J. Lucas, officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Henry Cemetery.
