Tina M. Martin-Kurowski, 46, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer. Calling South Bend, IN, her home, she moved to Louisville with her husband, Michael, in 1994. She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Mayes. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kurowski; daughter, Stacy Martin; grandson, Nathan Martin; father, Ronnie Mayes and his wife, Jan Mayes; sister, Tami Kersey and her husband, William Kersey; grandmother, Pauline Prewitt; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pearson-Ratterman Bros. Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Animal Care Society or the Humane Society.
