<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Timothy Wade SmithMauldinTimothy Wade "Rescue" Smith, 45, husband of Rebecca Baldwin Smith, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014.Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Clyde Edward "Ed" and Nancy Miller Smith."Rescue" was a dedicated firefighter for the City of Mauldin and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Empire Masonic Lodge and the South Carolina Firefighter's Association. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Audrey and two sons, Ian and Austin; three sisters: Angela Owens, Tasha White, and Karen Alexander; two brothers; Eddie and Michael Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookwood Church in Simpsonville. Burial will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to the Domestic Violence Assistance P. O.
