SMITH, Timothy Randall Randy died Sept. 10, 2006 from complications associated with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Randy showed great courage and strength throughout almost six years of treatment. Randy, age 41, was most recently Director of Artistic Operations for Vancouver Opera. One of his earliest successes was founding and managing the Victoria Fringe Festival which just celebrated its 20th anniversary. Randy leaves his beloved wife Yau Min, his family Joyce, Dennis and Julie, Yau Min's family Bernadette, Vincent, Yau Bing and Chris as well as many more caring relatives and good friends. A memorial service will be held at Van Dusen Botanical Garden.
