Timothy Patrick Smith, age 41, of Springdale Forrest Circle, Gainesville, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smith was born Jan. 19, 1968, in Fulton County to George Smith and Mary Duncan Smith. He worked at Thomas Concrete in Flowery Branch as a mechanic and shop foreman. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, George Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Jill Smith, Gainesville; daughter, Erica Smith; son, Cody Smith, both of Gainesville; mother, Mary Smith of Cartersville; sisters, Tracy Carroll and Lisa Smith, both of Cartersville; brothers, Stevie Smith, Stanley Smith and George Smith Jr., all of Cartersville.
