Timothy "Timmy" O'Neal Murphy, 37, of Rogersville, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, at his residence.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Rogersville Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with David Mason and Andy O'Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Belew Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Andy O'Daniel, Roger Lard, Willie Murphy, Jack Murphy, Justin Murphy, Wayne Birdwell, Jodie Howard and Ronnie Chandler; honorary pallbearers will be Mark Thornton, Jason Thornton, Matt Thornton and Michael White.He is survived by his wife, Valerie Murphy; daughter, Darrylanne Jones; parents, Neil and Carrie Murphy; brother, Michael (Kari) Murphy; beloved granddaughter, Brantliee Stotts (his pumpkin); stepdaughter, Reagan Bumgart, whom he loved as a daughter; grandmother, Vernon Murphy; his second mother, Diane "Nanny" Butler; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Timmy was loved by everyone who knew him. He had many friends and he loved them all.
