LE _ Thomas Mr. Thomas Thin Van Le passed away peacefully at the Carewest George Boyack on Friday, January 7, 2005 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Tran in 2000, and his brother Hoa Le in 1981. He was born in Hanoi and moved to Saigon, South Viet Nam, in 1936 and immigrated to Calgary in 1981. He worked at the VN Department of Finance for thirty years. He was a very giving man who was active in his community and was always willing to lend a hand when it was needed. He will be dearly missed by his sons, daughters and grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Sosnowski, Mrs. Diane, RN, and other RN's and staff nurses at 3 North Floor, Carewest George Boyack for the care they provided. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Vincent Liem's Catholic Church, 1405 - 8 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB, on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent Liem's Church on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
