HAYES Thomas P., 89, of Ringwood on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of Thomas and Helen (Ryan) Hayes. Before retiring he was a New York City police officer working out of the 34th precinct in Washington Heights, NY. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force, a member of the New York City PBA, and a member of the Emerald Society. Mr. Hayes was predeceased by his wife Theresa Trainor in 1978. Surviving are two daughters, Theresa L. Behrens (husband, Kurt) and Laura J. O'Connell (husband, James). Seven grandchildren, Ryan, Heather, Kyle, Kristen, Devin, Jeffrey, and Caitlin also survive. Funeral services on Wednesday, March 13th at 10:30 AM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Interment to follow in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
