Obituary of Thomas-P. Farrelly

FARRELLY Thomas P., 72, a long-time resident of Pompton Plains, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Center for Hospice of New Jersey in Wayne. Born in Passaic, Tom was the son of Francis and Adeline Farrelly. After high school he served in the Army before earning his college degree. Marrying Dolores Meuselbach, the couple settled in Pompton Plains forty-eight years ago, raising three children. In addition to being a resident of Pompton Plains, Tom owned Marlboro Business Products there. He was a very active member of the community, being a member of the Pequannock Twsp. Planning Board (Presently Chairman), a past member of the Pequannock Board Adjustment, a member of the Pequannock Twsp. Council and serving as Mayor in 2004. He was also a member of Pequannock Valley Rotary since 1992 and was a Paul Harris Fellow with the club. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Dolores; his cherished children, Gerald and his wife Mary, Kathleen and her husband Russell Henn, and Patricia and her husband Roger Keresztes; and his beloved seven grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be celebrated 10 AM, Friday, at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, 155 West Parkway, Pompton Plains. Interment will follow at the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains. Visiting will be Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the M.
