OKEECHOBEE - Thomas Michael Godwin of Okeechobee died Feb. 3, 2014. He was born April 6, 1956 in Stuart, Florida to Thomas and Faye Godwin. He was a commercial fisherman and enjoyed yard work, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, football and NASCAR. He moved to Okeechobee eight years ago. Mr. Godwin is survived by his mother, Faye Godwin of Okeechobee; two sons, Michael Taylor Trevisan of Deland, Fla., and Brant Garrett of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Tiffany Perri of Stuart, Fla.; three sisters, Linda Nieto of Okeechobee, Louise Burke and Tina O'Dell (Shawn) of Danville, Ill.; grandchildren, Brant Andrew Garrett, Jr., Ariella Marie Garrett of Port St. Lucie and Weston Perri of Stuart. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at Resurrection Life, 1803 SW 3rd Avenue, Okeechobee, FL 34974 with Pastor Dave San Martin officiating.
