Waterloo - Thomas Lee, 63, of South Africa, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday (March 5, 2013) after a ten year battle with cancer.Funeral services will be Friday (Mar. 8) in South Africa, at the convenience of the family.Tom was born Nov. 12, 1949 in Canandaigua, the son of John and Shirley Frasier Dibble. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Tom then served his country for four years in the U. S. Navy. After leaving the navy he was self employed as a mechanic and truck driver. In 1984 he served a mission for the Baha'i Faith in Zambia for a few years, where he met his wife. Returning to the states he was self employed as a truck driver and continued to travel to other countries. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Qurra, Lua, Veronica "Patzi", and Quddus Dibble; brothers, Martin (Margaret) Dibble of Moscow, Idaho, John Dibble of Sodus Point, Allen (Pam) Dibble of Macedon, Earl (Deb) Dibble, of Lolo, Mont., Dan (Joni) Dibble of Waterloo, and Bruce (Betty) Dibble of Sodus Point; sisters, Judy (Steve) Green of Waterloo, Elfa (Bob) Buggey of Fairbanks, Alaska, Becky (Erick) Lewis of Newport News, Va., and Lauretta (Russ) George of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one sister-in-law, Beth (John) Jones of Waterloo; uncles, Gordon Dibble and Weston (Twilia) "Skip" Frasier; many cousins, nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Carol (Dibble) Ward; and brother, Brian Dibble.
