Born in County Durham, England, Tom is survived by wife of 65 years Eunice Carter (Howse), three children: David Carter of Portland OR, Lynette Carter Weinman of Digdeguash, NB, Adrian L. Carter of Vancouver, BC; and their families, grandson J. Nathan Weinman of Maryland, USA and Sara Brown, Maryland, USA, granddaughter Stephanie Carter of Portland, OR, nephews Leonard Carter and Brian Carter, England and all the families; and many, many friends near and far, who knew him as a gentleman and a caring and funny man. Also Shadow, Tillie, Toby. We will all miss you and never forget your laugh. At his request there will be no services.
