HOUSTON, Texas - Thomas J. Hayes, passed away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2015, of natural causes at 85 years old in Houston. He was born in Salamanca, N.Y., and preceded in death by his parents Michael S. Hayes and Alice Catherine Halloran Hayes. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Madalena (Carbone) Hayes; children, Thomas Hayes Jr., Maryanne Johnson and husband Rich, and Jeanie Hatch and husband Tim; along with five grandchildren. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University and served in the Army during the Korean War. His military service will be held at Houston Veterans Memorial with his family attending.
