Thomas J. Flanagan of Mooresville NC, formerly of Scarsdale, NY passed away on March 6, 2008. He retired as a detective with the NYPD and served in the US Marine Corp. Thomas was a member of Gaven Trowel Masonic Lodge in City Island and The Transit Police Emerald Society. Thomas married Margaret Heavey on November 1, 1975 at St. Margaret's Church in Riverdale, NY. He is survived by his wife, his sons Thomas, Ryan and Patrick, his brothers Michael (Janice), Hugh Philip, John (Rose), sisters Maureen (Allen) Pine and Loretta (Donald) Dzubiak. Visiting Hours are Monday (today) 2-4 & 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10AM Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
