VE3ABC Passed away peacefully, in hospital, on Friday June 13, 2003, aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Hayes (nee Schiemann). Loving brother of Ivy Castro (Ted) of England. Special uncle to Gloria Whitehead (Gordon) and great uncle to Georgina Griffith (Glen), Thomas Whitehead (Shannon) and Elizabeth Whitehead. Also uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Irene and brother George. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 326 MacKay Street on Wednesday June 18, 2003 at 11 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
