LEE, Thomas George 2009-07-16 Thomas George - May 9, 1939 - July 14, 2009 At Petrolia, in his 71st year, Tom was peacefully released from his full and blessed life. Formerly of Sarnia, Thunder Bay and Wyoming, Ontario, he is survived by daughters Trudy and Jody, sister Diane, grandchildren Alisha, Dayna and John, and many cherished nieces and nephews, including Tom, Tammy, Vicki, Al, James and Micheal. Tom was predeceased by his wife Rose (nee Roen), son Thomas and parents. Tom was married to Rose in 1962, and drove transport truck until he retired. An avid nature-lover, Tom enjoyed making birdhouses, observing wildlife, hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and spending time with his grandchildren, among many other varied activities. A natural Mr. Fixit, he was a member of the Handyman’s Association, and also owned Petrolia Recycling. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, Broadway St., Wyoming. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church, Wyoming, on Friday July 17th at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. John’s Anglican Church, Wyoming.
