Thomas Earle Cox III, 66, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Bay Medical Center. Tom was born Nov. 14, 1941, in Atlanta, a son of the late Thomas Earle Cox Jr. and Evelyn Wrigley Cox. Tom was a retired national sales manager of Shelby Williams Industries. He enjoyed his family, golf and photography. His family remembers him as a loving husband, father, grandfather and a special friend to his daughters. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of 44 years, Corinne Cox of Panama City Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Corinne Kirby and husband, Derek, of Knoxville, Tenn., Erinn Siemer and husband, Daryl, of Tampa, Fla., and Heather Cox of Panama City Beach, Fla.; mother-in-law, Corinne Ritter of Panama City Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Zachary Witherspoon and Hayden Witherspoon of Knoxville, Tenn., Kannon Siemer and Madeline Siemer of Tampa, Fla.; twin brother, Norman Cox of Arlington, Va.; and three sisters, Gayle Webster of Port Angeles, Wash., Beverly Rogers of Tampa, Fla., and Diane Featherston of San Francisco. The family will receive friends at 4 p.m. today, May 31, 2008. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. today in the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tom Weller officiating.
